Al Diestelkamp began full-time preaching in 1972 after working 13 years in the printing industry. He has worked with churches in Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Illinois, and is currently with the Edgebrook Lane church in Sycamore, Illinois, where he served as an elder until the death of his wife. Al and his late wife Connie were married for 58+ years and are parents of four children: Andy, Laura (Alvarez), Suzy (Miller) and Lance, who together have produced 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, so far.
